| TENRIWO-NO-MIKOTO, OYASAMA, and a delightful life |
|
|
The holy name of our Parent God is TENRIWO-NO-MIKOTO.
He is the original and true God that started the creation of human beings
and this world in the primitive environment of the earth.
He made OYASAMA his medium and let his message know for us all over the world.
So we are informed of the expectation of God TENRIWO by OYASAMA for the first time.
OYASAMA is Mrs Miki Nakayama.
The reason why God TENRIWO created human being is to enjoy looking onto delightful life of us.
To live with delight is the verry ideal object of us human beings.
I will acquire the doctrines of God Parent thoroughly, and will follow the life of OYASAMA that was filled with religious belief.
And also I will do my best to be helpful for other people. |

I quoted the above mentioned from "The vow before attending BESSEKI".
I think that sentences of it express the quintessence of TENRIKYO admirably with concise expression., and in it there are guideposts for
advanced inquiring into TENRIKYO.
Last part of the above mentioned is my mental attitude.
I will keep the deep emotion for ever that I had in mind when I was permited OSAZUKE-NO-RI after expiration of BESSEKI. |

| MOTONORI and the histry of the earth |
|
|
MOTONORI is writen in Chapter 3 of the TENRIKYO Scripture.
In it, we see that God Parent have created life which leads to now and
the story of growth of life.
But it may not be the one that anyone can believe immediately.
So I will show you some points of MOTONORI which coincide with the histry
of the earth.

The evolution was repeted many times and through a bug, a fowl, and lots
of kinds of animals, alternation of generations of life advanced
At last there was a big extinction, but a female monkey(*1) survived
After further evolution, human beings appeared |

About 300 milion years ago, insects spreaded
about 200 milion years ago, mammals appeared
About 55 milion years ago, a primate appeared
About 5 or 6 milion years ago, there was a branch parting of human being
and chimpanzee and a pithecanthropus created
About 230 thousand years ago, Homo neanderthalensis appeared
About 190 or 200 thousand years ago, Homo sapiens appeared
About 100 thousand years ago, Homo sapiens left Africa and spread through
the world |

For multiplication, both sex,,male and female are needed.
So the description "a female monkey survived" may be unnatural.
But we must imagine the times when the foundation of the TENRIKYO Scripture
was formed, from Meiji period to Showa during the World War II (from 1868
to 1945).
In those days, religions which enshrine different Gods from Japanese Shinto
were persecuted by the government at those times.
To preserve the construction of TENRIKYO, I think that the leaders some
times had to control expressions to avoid assaults by the authorities.
According to the political important subject, the Emperor of Japan was a God.
And it was not only prohibited but also was against the low to object to
the view that he was a direct descendant of the highest God in the mythology. |

Today, the theory of evolution is well kown, but how about around 1838,
when Mrs Miki Nakayama became the medium of God Parent and God Parent let
us know the splendid history of life ?

The time was Edo period when the society was feudalistic, a housewife in Syoyasiki village of Yamato-no-kuni declared all at once, "I am the original and true God. I started the creation of human beings and this world."
It was verry reasonable that almost all the people aroud her concluded
she was out of her mind.
Rather worse, many of the governing classes thought it was a problem to
shake a social base of class system.
They might be impatient with the thought that all people were equal. |

Choito Hanashi is the second poetry of OTSUTOME in the MIKAGURAUTA, and
is called KIGAN-NO-TSUTOME.
It was made from the words that God Parent informed through OYASAMA.
On the other hand, I think that we can interpret it as the words of preachers
of TENRIKYO.
Any way, God Parent is not a one that forces us.
By the first words "Just for a moment, listen to the message",
all of us feel tenderness and gentleness of him, and feel a sense of intimacy
and affection.
This web site, Choito Hanashi is personal.
I am writting it in my spare time.
So that the progress of it will be slow.
And the contents will be added on with my improvement, there may not be
